Ellette uses dispell magic to reveal "real" tiles in the room. Qwimby approaches the man stuck in the wall and gets him loose. He reveals his name is Graxen and we're the ones he's been looking for. Zara quizes him and forces him to expose his 'sexy ankles'. Graxen shows the party drawings of Ellette, Qwimby, Zara, Karrut and Morgar. He's from Barovia looking for help against his mother who is now ruling over BArovia since the defeat of Strahd. The party are attacked by a spider creature, Graxen fights alongside Sordia Vignti to defeat the spider, Steve gets trapped by webbing from the spider. More mushrooms appear and are quickly disposed of. Sordia Vingti agree Graxen can join them on their journey. The find the door at the end of the room has 6 slots dotted around the frame. A crystal ball appears on a pillar in the middle of the room. The party struggle to break the puzzle on the door. Graxen solves it and the door opens. The party enter the next room it is a long room with pools of blood either side. At the end of the room Zargathax sits on a throne. either side of the throne are to portals that appear to be a dark void. Above the throne hanging from magical chains, the party sees Norridge. This rattles Ellette. The Meep climbs out of VV's chest and walks over to one of the rivers of blood and begins playing with the blood, the party look over to see beside him, Graxen has knealt down and is scooping up blood to drink it. The party are taken aback by this but Zaragathax throws an insult at Graxen, condeming him for saying he would help him but is now standing at Sordia Vigntis side. Graxen snaps back but Zargathax laughs summoning two bone creatures to attack the party. Steve charges up swinging her hammer down on Zargathax, he catches her and Steves mind is flooded with images of a young Zargathax with a woman, a brief life, her walking away with Ratagon. Steve is then thrown back towards the others. The Meep walks across the room carrying what seems to be another Book of vile and darkness to the confusion of the party, it doesn't seem to be affecting him. the fighting continues as they deal with the creatures Zargathax roars as his body begins to bend and break reforming into a dragon. He lunges towards the Meep, Ellette sprints towards Norridge jumping up to try free him from the chains. Zara manages to get to the Meeps pulling him away but not before Zargathax gets the book in his claws. A booming laugh fills the room as he pushes the book into his chest, he hovers in the air as he appears to shift gravity. The party fall towards the portal. Ellette manages to get Norridge free and they both fall into the portal, the rest of the party relents and slides into the portal a deep evil "Thank you" filling their ears as they go through the portal. The party awake, cramped together into a small room. Ash gets to work healing Norridge as Qwinby completes a head count making sure everyone is together. There's a door nearby shining light through into the room. Steve looks through seeing a dark cavern with only glowing mushrooms as the source of light. The party healed, take a moment to rest before leaving the room. As they exit the door it is very obvious they are in the underdark. QWimby hears footsteps in the distance. the party turn and see some kuoa toa and a drydar. The dryder roars "Intruders" and the keptaoe attack the party. Steve and VV are caught in a net. Graxen runs over to free them as Ash Qwimby Zara and Ellette protect them. The meep runs over to Norridge, sniffing him before eating his toe, the drydar is pushed away and runs leaving the fish folk behind. The kuotoa start to praise the Meep who then jumps on Steves face tearing off her nose. the party try to push him away but are easily over powered. They take out the kuoatoa before the Meep finally calms down and goes to sleep. We place him back into the chest and lock it as Ash heals Steves face. During the whole encounter Norrige is killed, this then reveals him to have been a shapeshifter, Ellette cuts the head off the ensure he's gone. The party now have a chance to breathe, looking over the team see a mist hanging over the city of Menzoboranzan. They recoginise it as the mist they had fought in the cave. They deicde they are not in a position to deal with it and try to find a way out. They find a cave, entering it they notice some old rotted furniture, pools of acid lie either side of the room and a large door is at the end of the room. There are dead bodies floating in each pool half erroded. They begin to rest when steve is picked up and dropped into a pool of goo. They are on high alert when zara is then thrown into a pool. Graxen manages to quickly pull the two out taking only minor damage. The party are ambushed by an invisible creature. A battle ensues many of the party, the creature is knocked prone at one point revealing its true appearance, it has no eyes and is large. Steve drops from a height and kills the creature with a final swing to it's head. The party push the monster into the goo and watch it dissolve before collapsing.
